I recently started a project with our local zoo to update their photo library. A white background gave these critters a chance to stand out. The snakes didn't bother me (a boa constrictor and the python pictured below). But the spiders ... I was glad for my long lens and room to back up!

Nicaragua 2010

Here are some images from La Merced's first day in Nicaragua. Read more about it at my companion blog, my [click] life.

I spent Valentine's Day supplementing my local portfolio. Surprising images were found at a nearby cemetery...

Sunset provided a great backdrop for images from Elliott's Island, a desolate landscape between the Nanticoke River and The Chesapeake Bay.

Check out my companion blog, my [click] life for more details. Additional images from the day's shooting can be seen in my flickr photostream. Enjoy!

Recent Projects

Here are a few pics from recent projects:

Spectacular Snow! Being near the coast for the latest snow storm was a great opportunity for some sunset shots.

Unless images are taken for commercial purposes (namely architectural) I do not use photoshop in my processing. I will, however, use Lightroom. I do not make adjustments that would not normally be made in a darkroom on traditional film media.

Tai Chi instructor Elizabeth North called and needed images to promote a new class she's teaching at her local YMCA. The frozen water at the yacht club provided the backdrop for many of the shots.
